JEWISH Ribadavia

Jewish city story of Ribadavia

Ribadavia is most famous for its wine trade that was primarily owned by Jews and was drank in homes as far as England and Germany. The Jewish Quarter has been well maintained - visit on the last Saturday in August for a wine festival and to see the Quarter decked out as if in Medieval times, down to the use of the ancient Spanish currency.
