Tel Beer Sheva National Park

Beer Sheva is mentioned numerous times in the Tanakh, often as a means of describing the borders of the Land of Israel, extending from "Be'er Sheva to Dan" (see Judges 20:1-3, I Samuel 3:19-21). The name is derived from the Hebrew Be'er meaning a well, and Sheva meaning "to swear an oath." Tel Be'er Sheva was excavated from 1969 to 1976 by the Tel Aviv University Institute of Archaeology, directed by Prof. Yohanan Aharoni, except for the last season which was led by Prof. Ze'ev Herzog. These excavations were directed towards uncovering the Iron Age Israelite city at the site. Excavations were renewed by Prof Herzog between 1993 and 1995 in order to complete the uncovering of the town's water system. The site was renovated by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority in 1990. Anzac Memorial Centre

The ANZAC spirit brought hundreds of horsemen from Australia and New Zealand to bravely and determinately fight for their homeland in the Land of Israel and in Be’er Sheva. The ANZAC Memorial Center in Be’er Sheva was built in cooperation with the governments of Australia and Israel, the Be’er Sheva municipality, the JNF, JNF Australia and the CWGC. The Center is located near the cemetery for combatants of the First World War in Be’er Sheva. The Center will be dedicated as part of the 100th anniversary of the occupation of Beersheba by the ANZAC forces on October 31, 2017 in the presence of the Prime Minister of Israel and the Prime Minister of Australia. The ANZAC Memorial Center is a unique place in Israel that tells the story of the soldiers of the ANZAC soldiers and the conquest of Be’er Sheva in an experiential manner. Visitors to the center will journey to another continent, another time, and discover themselves in the process.The ANZAC Memorial Center in Be’er Sheva is an educational facility committed to promoting and instilling the values of heritage, patriotism, identity and the promulgation of knowledge, all embodied by the ANZAC spirit and their stories. The ANZAC Memorial Center is a central point of interest for visitors in the city of Be’er Sheva. Abraham's Well

Abraham's Well is a historical water well in Be'er Sheva, Israel, associated with the biblical narrative of Abraham. Its structure houses the archaeology museum of Be'er Sheva and is located near the Old City of Be'er Sheva. According to the Hebrew Bible, Abraham's well was seized by Abimelech's men, and Isaac’s servants also dug a well at Be'er Sheva. Kornmehl Farm

Kornmehl farm was founded on the eve of Rosh Hashanah by Anat and Daniel Kornel, two graduates of Israel’s School of Agriculture. The farm overlooks the desert mountains with its goat pens being placed in a more nascent fashion in front of man made terraces. This has been a herding technique used in the area for the last 4000 years. The restaurant cheese selections offer patrons the farm's interpretation of iconic cheeses. The health and contentment of the goats is key to the quality taste of it’s goat milk. The farm restaurant offers a variety of housemade cheeses and fresh breads for spreading as well as a few other comfort food staples like rice pudding, focaccia, and knafe.

Idi

Idi, located in the seaside city of Ashdod, is a restaurant name that carries culinary weight both inside and outside of Israel. This restaurant began with the dream of a former diver in the Israeli pipeline industry, Idi Israelowitz. After years of trials and tribulations with trying to open several establishments in Israel, as well as a stint at the famed Cordon Bleu in Paris he opened Idi in 1995. His dishes place an emphasis on fine seafood and seeks to provide diners with good food and good fun. The Idi experience includes red tuna steaks, fried calamari, and plenty of high quality wine and spirits to wash it all down.

Ha'Katzeh

The restaurant Ha'Katzeh is comparable to a fast food drive-in but with a twist- they offer high quality Moroccan cuisine! Since 2002, this restaurant has been frequented by local residents of the area. What began as a coffee shop has become a main stop for those heading North or South, looking for some good, comfort food to warm the soul. The Negev Hotel

Dating back to 1949, the Negev Hotel has been part of Be'er Sheva's old city from the very beginning of Israel's establishment. Ever since, it has hosted thousands of well-known visitors from Israel and around the world coming to admire the biblical beauty of the famous Negev Desert. At 2019 it was purchased and completely refurbished by the Ohayon Group and since 2020 it is operated and managed by Domus Exceptional Hospitality that focuses on high-end accommodation for tourist and business travelers in southern Israel. To date, this historical landmark - the Negev Hotel - is officially the Oldest and Newest Hotel in Be'er Sheva

Le Riad Be'er Sheva

Le Riad hotel is located in a 110-year-old building in the Old City of Be'er Sheva. The building has undergone several transformations since it was purchased by Mimi Osedon and became the vacation home it is today. Mimi, who was born in Morocco and immigrated with her family at the age of six months, grew up in Be'er Sheva, moved to Tel Aviv after the army and established a successful beaded jewelry and leather clothing business. After getting married, giving birth to her daughter, and living abroad in South Africa and Kenya, Mimi returned to Be'er Sheva. When she first returned, she opened a bridal dress shop, which burned down in a fire. Because Mimi had always dreamed of openeing an authentic and refied Moroccan accommodation, she took this tragety and an oppotunity to fulfull that dream. With the help of her daughter, she began renovating the burned-out building, turning it into the guesthouse it is today. They decided to flow with the natural features of the building, which has an area of 200 square meters and is built around an inner courtyard with an area of 64 square meters, like the inner courtyard (Riyadh) that characterizes traditional Moroccan construction. All rooms revolve around an inner courtyard including the windows that face inwards, this creates intimacy for the host. The authentic riad includes an inner courtyard with a garden and a source of running water in the form of a fountain, a spring, a waterfall, a pool, and more. Their plan was to travel to Morocco and other destinations and gather everything needed to turn the ancient structure into an authentic fine accommodation. Everything from the Moroccan bismuth tiles overing the yard to the luxurious sofas and carpets are authentic and improted from from Morocco! You will find nothing but luxury and authenticity while staying at hote Anilevich!
